MEDICAL
As a SRS associate, you have access to various benefit choices for you and your family — including two medical options designed to help you manage your health and budget. Understanding your choices is the first step to making a decision that will help you and your family for the next calendar year.

PRESCRIPTION DRUGS
When you enroll in a SRS medical plan, you receive prescription drug coverage. Your copays are based on the type of drug and where you purchase your prescription. To lower your costs, request generics or use a ShopRite pharmacy or Spotswood mail order for maintenance medications.

DENTAL
The Dental Plan is administered by Aetna. You may choose any licensed dental provider, but you benefit from discounted fees when you use in-network providers.

VISION
Our Vision Plan is administered by Davis Vision and provides you with both In-Network and Out-of-Network benefits. To receive the maximum benefit available under our plan you would choose an In-Network Davis Vision Provider and they will coordinate all of your vision care needs.

WELL-BEING PROGRAMS
Through Aetna, our medical plan administrator, we offer a wide variety of programs and services, from Health Assessments to help you identify opportunities for improvement, to a robust well-being portal that includes health tools, resources, services, and information.

LIFE INSURANCE
SRS associates are eligible for 1.5 times their annualized salary in basic life insurance. Associates can purchase additional financial protection for their family at very competitive prices (subject to the insurer’s underwriting approval).

FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS
Your contributions are made with pretax dollars from your pay — before federal income taxes and Social Security taxes are calculated. As a result, your taxable income is lower, so you pay less taxes in each paycheck. Then, when you have an eligible expense, you reimburse yourself with tax-free money from your account.

LONG-TERM DISABILITY
Long-term disability benefits provide you with a portion of your salary in the event you become disabled and cannot work. If you are rendered disabled by a licensed physician, for 180 days or more, you can apply and be considered for the LTD benefit.

VOLUNTARY BENEFITS
We are proud to offer innovative insurance products such as Automobile, Homeowners, and Pet Insurance. Enroll at any time throughout the year for these insurance products. MetLife Legal Plan provides legal expertise for both events such as buying or selling a home, starting a family, dealing with identity theft, caring for aging parents, and more!

What's new for 2025

NEW DENTAL PROVIDER
Aetna is the new dental provider for 2025.
Your current dental elections will automatically carry over to Aetna. If you make no changes to your dental plan, there is no need to re-enroll.​ There will be a 5% increase for the bundled Dental/Vision option.

COMPLETE ONCOLOGY CARE
Aetna’s Transform Oncology program is innovating the full care journey of each cancer patient through an elevated standard of care that improves outcomes through personal care at every step of their cancer journey.

NEW LIFE INSURANCE PROVIDER
MetLife is the new Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) provider for 2025. During this open enrollment, you can enroll in Optional Life insurance without EOI, if under guaranteed issuance ($300,000 for associate and $50,000 for spouse).

TRANSFORM DIABETES CARE

Advanced analytics help identify and prioritize tailored interventions using our comprehensive member data. Members benefit from customized care and experience that includes remote and face-to-face consultations with a pharmacist and care team.

NEW LONG-TERM DISABILITY PROVIDER
MetLife is the new Long-Term Disability provider for 2025. Your after-tax elections will carry over automatically to MetLife. If you are not making any changes you will not have to re-enroll.

  • There will be a 5% increase in associate health benefits weekly contribution.
  • There will be a 5% increase for the bundled Dental/Vision option.
